Everyone has some fundamental principles they live by. Most of mine were shaped by my father's guidance over the years. I call these my non-negotiables, values that guide me in everything I do.
Send that email. Attend that event. Build that product. The worst that can happen is a "no" or a flawed first version. That's still better than doing nothing at all. A rough product beats no product any day. Stop overthinking.
Always remember that people helped you without any labels or expectations- sometimes even just through a cold email. Their support gave you direction when you needed it most. Now it's your turn to do the same.
Sometimes it's better to appear uninformed for a moment than to miss the chance to learn something new. Growth happens when you are not the smartest person in the room and that's a good thing.
In life you will inevitebly misspeek, overthink, self-sabotage and ruin perfectly good moments for yourself and for others. These mistake are bound to happen. So, learn from them and move forward. Remember, mistakes != failure.
The ones who stand by you through thick and thin are irreplaceable. When their honesty hurts, remember they are telling truths others won't. Express your gratitude often.
Release the need to control others actions or decisions. People move on their own timelines and that's okay. Channel your energy toward pursuits that genuinely spark your curiosity and passion.
